Colour is a key part of our everyday lives, and it is important to understand the differences between the representation of colour on screen and in print.
On screen, images are displayed as RGB (red, green and blue) and when printed we primarily use 4 colours, known as CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black). Moving from one colour mode to the other can cause as shift in colour from what is seen on screen to the printed product. As RGB has a wider range, images can appear brighter than the printed product. We create our own colour profiles to ensure accurate colour reproduction on each individual type of product. This is vital when working to brand guidelines, Pantone and spot colours to convey your printed material with striking impact.
With our 30 years plus experience and with all of the work completed in house, you can be assured that nothing leaves our premises without the Door Twenty Six seal of approval.
